The Xeon D-2100 is one of Intel’s latest Embedded CPU offerings aimed at the entry-level server market. This series of CPU’s replaces Xeon D, and is designed to bridge the gap between the Atom and E3 series of CPU’s and boasts a 7-year life cycle – making it perfect for embedded applications.
The CPU series utilises multiple cores but maintains low power consumption and offers a wide array of IO features such as integrated SATA3, USB3.0 and PCIe GEN3 support. Additional features include Intel AVX 512 Instructions, GbE with RDMA Support and Intel QuickAssist technology.
