Working from home is currently at the forefront of everyone's mind and remote working can be a big adjustment to normal, everday life. The Boston Roamer Solution range is here to make it that bit easier with the help of Teradici technology and NVIDIA GRID Software.
Allow users to extend the tether of the machine of their choice to their desktop - worldwide.
SECURE YOUR DATA
Data is transferred in the form of pixels, so no business information ever leaves your cloud or data center
Deliver a high performance user experience for users using even the most graphics-intensive applications.
SHARED GPU RESOURCE
GPU passthrough allows a GPU to be passed to a desktop in it's entirety.
A remotely accessible 2U dual-node rackmount solution, the Boston Roamer 1202-0 can be powered by AMD EPYC 7002/7003 series (including latest 3D V-Cache Milan-X SKUs) or alternatively Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5000WX series processors.FIND OUT MORE DOWNLOAD DATASHEET

The Boston Roamer 1101-10TP takes advantage of Teradici PCoIP™ technology, allowing users to extend the tether of the machine of their choice to their desktop - worldwide. The Roamer 1101-10TP features the latest Intel® Xeon® W processor with up to 18 cores / 36 threads and up to 256GB of DDR4 memory and an NVIDIA RTX™ 4000 GPU, all in a short-depth form factor.
Teradici’s PC-over-IP (PCoIP) technology delivers a secure, high-definition and highly responsive computing experience over TCP/IP. Using advanced display compression techniques to provide end users with remote access to virtual machines as a convenient alternative to deploying workstations to employees desks. From a user's perspective, there is no difference between working with a local computer loaded with software and an endpoint receiving a streamed pixel representation from a centralized virtual computer without the bulky and potentially noisy unit at the desk side.
CloudXR is customisable to allow new and old devices to remain compatible, giving immense flexibility for any XR deployment. Using either a dedicated GPU or vGPU on the server backend, almost any existing device can be used as an XR client. This includes but is not limited to, HTC Vive, Steam Index, Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest, Oculus Quest 2, iOS and Android mobile devices.
The MU-CXR can be further expanded and/or customised to meet personalised specifications. CloudXR also supports a number of compatible GPUs, meaning there are only a few requirements that cannot be satisfied with the flexibility and range this solution can offer.
Design houses can quickly virtualise artist workstations that can match or even exceed the performance of legacy physical workstations, minimising IT and real estate costs as your company grows. With the Roamer range, you can protect your intellectual property and foster creativity with simplified remote collaboration.
With PCoIP, we can enable graphically rich, high performance virtual desktops that turn monitors or smart phones alike into trading powerhouses. Provide your portfolio managers and traders with the information and data visualization tools they need to perform at their best - anywhere in the world.
NVIDIA virtual GPU (vGPU) is the industry's most advanced technology for sharing the power of NVIDIA GPUs across virtual machines (VMs) and virtual applications. Amp up the power of your remote environment and deliver a superior experience to every remote user, for every application and on any device.
To help our clients make informed decisions about new technologies, we have opened up our research & development facilities and actively encourage customers to try the latest platforms using their own tools and if necessary together with their existing hardware. Remote access is also available
The annual GPU Technology Conference is returning once again in San Jose, California. See what awaits you!
