This year marks the 21st annual IEEE International Conference on High Performance Computing (HiPC 2014). Boston Limited will be attending the event at the Hotel Cidade De Goa, in Goa, India, from December 17 - December 20, 2014.

The HiPC event serves as a forum for researchers from around the world to present their current research efforts and findings, it will also act as a venue for stimulating discussions and highlighting high performance computing (HPC) related activities in Asia.

Boston Limited will be delivering a presentation on Bright Cluster Manager at HiPC. This management software was designed by a group of highly experienced cluster specialists who perceived the need for a fundamental approach to the technical challenges posed by cluster management. The Bright Cluster Manager installs a complete cluster from bare-metal to turnkey supercomputer within an hour! Also with Bright Cluster Manager hundreds of useful hardware and software metrics can be monitored.

The Bright Cluster Manager includes everything a user or administrator would expect from a professional cluster management software stack, from basic compliers and libraries, up to Automated Cluster Management and Workload Management.

Boston Limited will also be talking about Lustre Parallel storage solutions, the Intel Enterprise Edition for Lustre software unleashes the Lustre parallel file system. The Igloo parallel storage range provide genuine enterprise class storage that can be scaled to suit user needs - whether you are looking for increase I/O performance or supplementary storage.

At this year's event Boston will be showcasing the Boston Quattro 14128-T, a high-capacity 8-node, 4U server solution based on Supermicro's FatTwin architecture. This highly dense server provides up to 6x 2.5" hot-swappable SATA3 HDDs per ½U to offer a new flexible computing platform, suitable for a number of demanding applications including data centres and cloud computing environment.

Powered by the latest Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3 Processors, the Boston Quattro 14128-T delivers outstanding energy efficiency. Versatile configurations allow the multi-award winning range of Quattro render nodes to be optimized for many different environments including Data Centre, Cloud Computing, Hadoop Applications, High Performance Computing, Scientific Research and the Oil & Gas Arena.

We will also demonstrate the Boston Igloo 4U 96T BeeGFS based on Supermicro's well-known 4U 36-bay storage Chassis. This is a high performance storage solution featuring hot-swappable server sleds to facilitate ease of maintenance and reduced down time. Powered by the latest Intel Xeon processors and C612 series chipset, the Boston Igloo 4U 96T BeeGFS delivers outstanding energy efficiency and performance, not to be missed at this year's HiPC.

We invite you to come visit Boston Limited on stand #7 at the HiPC event in Goa, India to speak to the team and find out how we can help you make your IT goals a reality. We will also be updating our social media pages with lots of photos from the event.
