An industry first, the 2.5-inch (6.4cm) MK3001GRRB HDD with 6GB/s SAS interface and 15RPM spindle speed, combines high performance with a 300GB capacity and compact size. This range also include, as an optional feature, Toshiba’s self-encrypting drive (SED) technology model, the MKxx01GRRR.

Developed with enterprise computing features in mind, where operational reliability, capacity and high performance are a top priority, the 300GB MK3001GRRB/R is an ideal fit for data intensive applications such as high-end servers, storage arrays and other mission-critical functions.

The MK3001GRRB/R has been developed in line with Toshiba’s ongoing commitment to social and environmental responsibility; it delivers a further power reduction with the addition of an Enhanced Power Condition State feature, allowing it to spin at a lower RPM when not in use.
