Thanks to its innovative and compact Ablecom-designed chassis, the Value Series 350T delivers a computing platform that fits squarely with this need for an affordable, balanced system. At its core is Intel’s latest Ivy-Bridge based Intel Xeon E5-2400 v2 family of processers. The E5-2400 v2 processor family features mores cores, larger caches and higher clock speeds – all while operating in the same power range as the previous generation.
The move to the 22nm architecture combines the benefits of lower idle power consumption and internal speed optimisations. In addition to this, the processors include Intel’s Secure Key and OS Guard technology. As well as these security technologies, the Xeon E5-2400 v2 product family includes storage extensions such as Asynchronous DRAM Refresh and x16 Non-transparent bridging, which helps enhance data protection and replication for storage.
The Ablecom chassis enables silent operation, and uses an advanced thermal design methodology to help keep the system cool even when tackling heavy workloads. The chassis also includes four hot-swap drive bays with a lockable bezel.
