Job Location: Frogmore, Hertfordshire

A new and exciting opportunity has opened up at the headquarters for Boston Limited; we are looking for a motivated and multi-skilled, Marketing Executive to co-ordinate marketing activities across India. Despite being based at HQ in the UK you will be required to gain an understanding of marketing activities and practices in India, execute multi-geographical campaigns, be a point of contact between offices in India and the UK as well as implementing India-specific marketing campaigns.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Marketing, also based in HQ and will collaborate with existing roles within the Marketing team.

Required skills:

• Willingness and organisational competences to be based in a different time zone to the geography that you are co-ordinating activities in.
• Interest in hardware, server and storage solutions in India.
• The ability to manage online and offline creative – including stand artwork for trade shows, press releases, printed literature (including brochures, flyers and adverts), e-shots and online web banners/adverts
• To assist with the development of content for the website and all forms of marketing material including PR and newsletters.
• Administer and organise diary of marketing activities
• Support the sales team with required marketing collateral and targeted campaign planning.
• To assist in the digital creation of content for social media including LinkedIn and Facebook
• Liaise with external agencies, including design, web, event and press

Who would suit this role?

This role will best suit a recent graduate of someone looking for their next step up as a Marketing Executive or similar level, but are looking for more responsibility and new challenges.  The ideal candidate will be able to work under minimum supervision and have excellent verbal and written English skills. You will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills meaning that you communicate confidentially at all levels. A high level of competency in all Microsoft packages including, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel is expected.

Not essential but desirable criteria:

• Experience with marketing  in India
• Have an understanding of computer hardware or experience in working within the IT industry
• Experience in using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Experience in Social Media and Newsletter platforms such as Hootsuite, Dotmailer, Mailchimp.
