SBM-GEM-X2C

Supermicro SuperBlade 1/10 Gigabit Ethernet Switch

The 1/10-Gigabit Ethernet layer 2/3 Switch module offers advanced switching features and connection to 10-Gigabit Ethernet networks. Internally it uses the same 1-Gb/s downlink ports as the SBM-GEM-001 for connection to the SuperBlade LAN interfaces. Externally it provides up to three 10-Gb/s uplink connections (two with a CX4 connector which are stackable and one SFP+) and two 1Gb/s uplink connections (RJ45). It also has two internal Ethernet paths to the CMM(s) to allow configuration, management, and control of the switch and its ports through a browser-based management interface. In addition to the Web-based GUI, it offers a CLI for flexibility in management and control of single or multiple switch networks.
