Based on the 22nm Haswell microarchitecture, the latest range of Xeon E5-2600 v3 CPUs are the successor to the Ivy Bridge-based Xeon E5-2600 v2 processors. The 12-core Xeon E5-2670 v3 included in the Boston Value Series 360p has a standard frequency of 2.3GHz, with turbo boost enabling clock-speeds of 3.1GHz and comes with a generous 30 MB Smart cache. The Supermicro DP motherboard, features the latest Intel® C612 PCH Express Chipset with integrated Dual 10 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and support for Up to 1TB DDR4 ECC 2133MHz UDIMMs in 16 sockets. Also supporting the latest in PCIe NVMe technology for low-latency & high bandwidth storage with up to 2 devices supported via the hot-plug backplane, this coupled with an on-board LSI SAS3 3108 controller this is a full fat 1U server for demanding server applications.
