The Boston Value Series 160 G8 is the latest 1U short-depth server solution from Boston featuring an Intel Xeon E5-1650 processor complimented and enhanced by liquid cooling. This innovative technology enables a cool internal temperature, low noise operation and lower power consumption when comparing to conventional servers.
Utilising Intel's latest Xeon E5 series processor codenamed "Sandy Bridge" clocked at 3.2GHz, the Boston Value Series 160 G8 represents the next generation of high performance UP 1U solutions from Boston.
With a hex-core Xeon E5-1650 processor and 32GB of RAM as standard you'll be surprised at the range of high performance tasks which can be undertaken by the Boston Value Series 160 G8. Thanks to the maintenance free liquid cooling solution it runs cooler and quieter than other air cooled rival 1U servers and also consumes less power.
The Boston Value Series 160 G8 contains 8 hot-swappable 2.5" S-ATA drive bays with optional SAS support for greater flexibility and a high storage capacity. Two 1Gb Ethernet ports are provided as standard alongside redundant power supplies and integrated remote management with KVM/IP (IPMI) making this an excellent solution for small business.
