The Boston Quattro 1396-T is the latest high-density, high-performance Cloud Compute offering by Boston, based on Supermicro's innovative Microcloud™ architecture. Featuring x24 modular server nodes densely integrated into a compact 3U chassis (less than 30" in depth), the Quattro 1396-T delivers space savings of over 76% when compared to traditional 1U servers.
The Boston Quattro 1396-T is the latest high-density, high-performance Cloud Compute offering by Boston, based on Supermicro's innovative Microcloud™ architecture. Featuring x24 modular server nodes densely integrated into a compact 3U chassis (less than 30" in depth), the Quattro 1396-T delivers space savings of over 76% when compared to traditional 1U servers.
Powered by the latest Intel® Xeon® E3-1200 v3 series processors, the Quattro 1396-T supplies up to an incredible 96 processing cores when each node is fully populated. The 4-core Xeon E3-1220 v3 CPU's included within the Quattro 1396-T has a standard frequency of 3.1GHz, with turbo boost enabling clock-speeds of 3.5GHz, and comes with a generous 8 MB L3 cache.
The Supermicro UP motherboard features the latest Intel® C224 PCH Express Chipset with integrated Dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and support for up to 32GB DDR3 ECC 1600MHz UDIMMs per node in 4 sockets.
Each node has its own dedicated 2.5" HDD with an option to add a second with RAID 0/1 support. The Quattro 1396-T utilises redundant Platinum Level (94%) high-efficiency power supplies and sophisticated cooling zone controls for a Green energy profile.
Power efficiency is not sacrificed due to DDR3L (1.5v) support, LV CPU SKUs, digital platinum level high-efficiency power supplies, and application optimized cooling.
