Our Cloud Storage offering is based on our Igloo series (Igloo 3U-05 NXStor SBB) combined with Nexenta's NexentaStor™.
Optimised for high performance, high availability storage applications, Boston's innovative Igloo 3U-05 NXStor SBB, based on the industry standard SBB specification, is a fully redundant, fault-tolerant, storage cluster.
High performance is assured with the use of both SAS 2.0 HDDs and SSD's for I/O performance.
NexentaStor™ leverages the power of the revolutionary ZFS file system. This allows for previously exotic and proprietary storage features to be included as standard including multi-parity RAID, data de-duplication, unlimited snapshots, compression, replication, copy-on-write data resilience, on-line volume expansion and much more.
Boston have developed a range of offerings to answer your cloud based compute and storage needs whether this is for use in-house (Private), externally (Trusted) or for provisioning of on-demand computing infrastructure (Hybrid).
The cloud can eliminate many of the complex constraints from the traditional computing environment, including space, time, power and cost. Boston offers a comprehensive range of private cloud solutions to suit your business' changing demands over time. With a "pay-as-you-use" or "core-banking" model, you can rent or charge for compute and storage power using a real-time billing engine.

Boston's Cloud Compute offering is based on Supermicro Microcloud™ and incorporates advanced software features to create an Enterprise class cloud solution featuring security, identity and access management for compliance with EU regulations in reference to where your data is held and stored.
The Boston Cloud system is effective for cloud computing, data centre, web hosting and virtualisation environments. The benefits of using Microcloud™ for your business is the ability to scale processing capabilities to mirror your requirements; saving you space, power and money.
The solutions can be installed on-premise or off-premise to provide a complete IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) that can expand online to create a hybrid-cloud. The platforms are Ideally suited for host service providers or system integrators wishing to provide a full end to end cloud service with multi-tenancy, metering and billing facilities. You can run highly sensitive applications in-house and tailor the solution to use external public cloud solutions as needed.
These cloud offerings are sold as pre-configured appliances and are loaded with a cloud operating system ready for use out-of-box, thus providing you a faster time to market.
