The Boston Venom 2100-0T is a high-density GPU computing server designed to accelerate demanding data analytics and scientific computing applications.

The Venom 2100-0T, a 1U high density GPU computing server, supports up to 4 NVIDIA Tesla K80 accelerators. Based on NVIDIA Kepler™ Architecture, the Tesla accelerators are designed to deliver fast and efficient compute performance - so imagine the possibilities with 4.

In this system's unique thermal design; the NVIDIA™ K80® GPU accelerator cards are placed at the front of the chassis - ensuring they receive fresh, cool air from the high performance cooling fans. This thoughtful positioning ensures that there is no pre-heating of the cards, which in traditionally laid out systems, is caused by taking in warm or hot air which has already cooled the processors. The result of running at cooler temperatures is an increase in both performance through additional NVIDIA K80 Autoboost potential, and a longer life span as the components are under less thermal strain.

Boston's engineers have coupled NVIDIA's Tesla technology with Intel® Xeon™ E5-2600 v3 processors which deliver better performance, power efficiency, virtualization and security. Providing high performance for the broadest range of applications and environments, these processors enable powerful and agile data centres by addressing the imminent need of greater flexibility with higher levels of automation.
